Drumroll Please...

I cannot tell you how excited I am about the new Shampoo and Conditioner from Moroccan Oil! It was released at the hair show last week in Orlando (and was back-ordered before it was even released!) This is such a great addition (it took them long enough, huh?) to the already expanding line. These are going to be such a hit at The Beauty Loft (everyone will get an email when we do get our manicured little hands on them!) So please proceed by opening your current shampoo/conditioner and pouring it down the drain! On a more serious note, the shampoo and conditioner is of course sulfate, phosphate, and paraben free! For those of you not familiar with the Moroccan Oil original serum, it is a haircare product that is made from Argan Oil, an oil rich in vitamins F, A, and E. It can be used on all hair types, before, during and after styling. Argan Oil is a recent addition to American women's hair and body products, although I was surprised to hear from some Moroccan customers that back home they use the oil in everything (even cooking!) Another nice feature about the Moroccan Oil is its smell. Unlike most hair products, I would actually buy a perfume version of the oil (it smells like a mix of the ocean and a musky flower). You can use the oil itself as a hair and body oil (and I have even been asked if you can drink it...something I definitely do not advise)

NARS Eyeshadow in Tropic

As soon as the new summer collection from NARS arrived at my store, I was taken with Tropic. The aqua blue shadow with embedded silver sparkle took my breath away. I love how the NARS shadows don't just have a sheen of glitter on top like many cheap shadows do. The NARS shadows have layers upon layers of color and huge chunks of glitter, so that once you wipe off the top part of your shadow, there is plenty left. NARS can be very surprising sometimes (both with color selection and color name) but never have I been so entranced by a single color as I am with Tropic. Every time I look at it I see the Mediterranean Sea. ...
